Desert View Regional Medical Center is an independent for-profit hospital, managed by Rural Health Management Group, and serves the residents of Pahrump, Nevada. The hospital, which opened in 2006 is among the newest and most progressive health care facilities in rural Nevada.
Desert View Regional Medical Center is a 24 bed, full service hospital offering a broad range of primary care, including emergency, surgical services, labor and delivery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and physical therapy services.
The current medical community consists of a vibrant group of six primary care physicians, four internal medicine physicians, one OB/GYN physician and one general surgeon. Other specialists are being attracted and added frequently. An outpatient clinic exists on the hospital campus. The new and modern, full-service 25-bed hospital, offers a broad range of primary care, including emergency, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and physical therapy services. The hospital boasts a 16-slice CT scanner with a radiologist on-site 5 days/week.
