Through a team approach, we provide innovative inpatient and outpatient mental health services for the Southern Nevada community. A Psychiatric Nurse II provides professional nursing care to mentally ill adult clients, and is an integral component of the clinical service team. Actively participates in a multidisciplinary team managing a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. Dynamic work responsibilities include assessing and identifying patient health care needs; making comprehensive clinical observations; prepare and document nursing care plans; administer medications; monitoring patients for medication side effects and/or allergic reaction. May also provide crisis intervention and help develop safety plan recommendations for patients. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards, as well as established laws, regulations and SNAMHS policies. This is a full time position with an anticipated schedule of Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm. This position supports SOUTHERN NEVADA ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (SNAMHS), 6161 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas and is in the Social Services department, located at Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital, 1650 Community College Dr, Las Vegas. Our Agency's mission is to help adults with mental illness improve their quality of life. Through a team approach, we provide innovative inpatient and outpatient mental health services for the Southern Nevada community. Some of the valuable services we provide include Psychiatric Emergency Services, Inpatient Services, Mobile Crises, Outpatient Counseling, Service Coordination, Intensive Service Coordination, Medication Clinic, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Residential Support Programs, Mental Health Court, Senior Outreach, Consumer Advocacy and Programs for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) teams. Inpatient services are provided through the new Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital. Outpatient services are provided through four mental health clinics located throughout the community. We are accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. SNAMHS is an exciting place to work with emphasis on utilizing the recovery model, developing innovative programs, increasing consumer and family involvement, educating the public through a variety of activities, and implementing a best practices clinical program. Positions at this level receive direct supervision while performing duties and incumbents receive training and gain experience while working toward licensure by the Board of Examiners for Social Work. This is the entry level class in the series and incumbents may progress to the Clinical Social Worker II position upon receipt of their license. The position will coordinate and obtain community services for clients, actively participate on the treatment team, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention. Emphasis on utilizing the recovery model, formulating individualized treatment plans that leads to self sufficiency. Ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards, as well as established laws, regulations and SNAMHS policies. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 8a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off. A temporary, full-time vacancy (approximately through April 2011) located at the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources, Carson City. The major activity of this position is to review legal documents (deeds, decrees of distribution, etc.) and abstracts of title submitted by the public or their agents to determine and assign ownership of claims or portions of claims for water rights on the Truckee River. These ownership assignments are complex and include determination of ownership, calculation of acre-feet and property location. They involve research of court decrees and existing deed transfers to establish a complete chain of title, resolve discrepancies and verify quantities and distribution of water rights. Each assignment usually involves a chain of title including more than 10 legal documents and often requires the plotting of legal descriptions of property location to determine the amount of water to be assigned to any particular owner. Other duties include computer entry and map table review of new applications filed with the division. Some mapping of water rights using AutoCAD Map and ArcGIS may be required.  &#x0D;
